Agboola Ajayi Is The New Ondo State Acting Gov As Akeredolu Begins 14-Day Vacation

The Ondo State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, on Monday began his 14-day vacation.
The state governor will resume to office on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
In his absence, his deputy, Mr. Agboola Ajayi, will be the acting Governor 
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor of the state , Mr. Segun Ajiboye.

According to the statement, the governor had informed the Ondo State House of Assembly through a letter he had written.
The statement said, “Before he proceeded on the annual leave, Governor Akeredolu transmitted a letter to that effect to the state House of Assembly.
“The deputy governor, Mr. Agboola Ajayi, is to perform the functions of the governor’s office while the governor is away. “
